Perennial flower. Require full sun. Direct sow seeds onto the surface of the soil, and compress firmly(optional) but do not cover- need sunlight exposure to germinate. Sow in the Fall so the cold winter can harden the seeds to germinate. A sunny location will promote profuse blooming and bushier growth. Grows to be about 28 inches tall at maturity extending to 48 inches with the flowers, with a spread of 24 inches. Blooms early to mid summer, orangey reddish color. Deadhead spent flowers can encourage blooming up until first frost of Fall. Water often during hot summers. Plant need evenly moist soil for the best growth. North pick up
