ATTENTION COLLECTORS: This vintage Flexora TLR (twin lens reflex) medium-format film camera, made in Germany by Lippische Kamerafabrik Richter & Fischer GmbH, belonged to my father. The two lenses are marked "Enna Werk Munchen Ennar 1:35 f = 7.5 cm". The taking lens has a Prontor-SV shutter. The focusing lens is marked no. 728020, which I assume is a serial number. I am not an expert on cameras, but found information about the Flexora series of cameras on camera-wiki.org, which is how I identified this one as a Type IIa. I think that my dad probably bought this camera new in the 1950s. It has the original brown leather carrying case lined with blue velveteen, and two black leather lens caps connected with a string. There is a flip-up magnifying glass inside the viewing area - neat! I think that my dad didn't use this camera very often, or after the 1960s, because when I cleaned out my parents' house, I found no photos of his that I could attribute to one of his film cameras from after that time, and he'd bought a Polaroid Land camera in about 1969, which became his go-to camera, and the only one that I can recall seeing him use after that. There are 8 shutter speeds in the range of from 1 second to 1/300 second. I have no reason to think that this camera is not in good working condition, other than that it has been in storage for decades. It was stored on a shelf in a main floor closet in my parents' house for decades until I brought it to Regina in about 2020. The camera has no dents, dings, scratches or squeaks, but a small amount of the black paint has come off of the metal edgers, and the glass on the viewfinder needs to be cleaned. This needs to be done by someone who knows what they are doing, so I will leave this to my buyer. Except for the viewfinder, this camera is clean and has no smells or odours. The brown case also is clean, with no stains, smells or odours, but there are some light scratches and scuffs in the leather. Contact me for two additional photos; I could post only eight on this site. Pick up in Wascana View, SE area of Regina, SK. Buyers - in case you're wondering why this camera's been advertised in the category "SLR Film Cameras" . . . it's because this site doesn't have a category called "TLR Film Cameras" and there is no better category for it to go into.
