In 1988, he decided to practise his art full time from his home in Old Montreal. Denise Bérard was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1960. She studied interior design at N.A.I.T. in Edmonton. In 1991, Denise joined Maurice as a full time artist in Old Montreal. Their works show vividly the love of their home and its history.
