Rare Vintage Blue Bird Confectionery Biscuit Tin Harry Vincent 1950s vanity bath made England cottage decor candy box cookies collectible In excellent condition ; The entire box is embellished with a faux marble finish and accented with gold toned metal scrolling, rims and claw feet. Colors are ,different shades of greens, gold and black. Left to Right: 7 1/2" Front to Back: 5 3/8" Top to Bottom: 3 1/4" including claw feet. Inside covers with red velvet material. On the underneath side it is embossed: “Blue Bird Confectionery Harry Vincent Limited Hunnington Worcestershire England” Harry Vincent was a 19th century confectioner and famous for his toffee's. In 1908, he re-branded and changed his confections from "Toffee Mill" to "Blue Bird". This tin was designed by Harry Vincent and made by Quality Klann of Western Germany during the mid 40's to 50's.
