Santini Pair Bird Alabaster Sculptures, Made in Italy (1910-1975 Era’s ) $150 price is for all 4 together [2 Pairs Explanation about this vintage statues; DESCRIPTION: VTG, A. Santini Pair of Alabaster Bird Sculptures. Made by Amilcare Santini (1910-1975), in Italy in the 1960s these gorgeous sculptures are highly detailed and quite heavy. Their poses are slightly different, one is facing forwards, the other is cleaning its wing with its beak. The carving detail of their feathers is remarkable. The sticker on the bottom of one of the birds says "Sculptor A. Santini, Classic Figure Made in Italy". Carved into the side of each birds' wing is "A. SANTINI". These would be beautiful styled in any space whether on a shelf or a stack of books. These 'love birds' would also make a wonderful Valentine's Day gift. CONDITION: They are in Vintage condition. The oldest pair is a bit darker in colour due to time aging (that could be cleaned)that pair was the oldest one since it was from my grandparents home…& also has a repair in one of them (in tail section ), as long as I remembered , since I was a child ( but it wasn’t my boo-boo )Anyway I provided the picture of that …& if U place them in a specific angle, it is not at all noticeable… The other pair , I purchased them 25 years ago from an antique shop in Boston , it is in better condition, but still vintage condition… Price is for all 4 & preferably like to sale them all together.
