Beautiful pale pink-mauve color. Flowers are much loved by bumble bees and hummingbirds. Grows best in full sun to semi sun and is adaptable to many soil. My tallest is 29.5 inches, most are 26 inches tall and up to 16 inches wide because is in its third year. Bloom in late spring to early summer. Most will bloom for at least four weeks. Prune columbine plants back not long after blooming, downsized to around 1/2 of their height to keep the plant engaging and green. Or you can cut off the seed pods to encourage new blooms. Fertilizer will encourage thick foliage and bright flowers. Flowers have been deadheaded, see last picture. Plant now before the frost comes and the ground hardens. North pick up
