Mattress is not stained (the yellow mark at foot of bed is the manufacturer's tag). The few times it was used for guests it always had a mattress pad to keep mattress clean. Some wear on fabric of one armrest because I got over zealous steam cleaning. Good fold out bed for Christmas guests. Smoke free, pet free, bug free home. Asking $230.
