ATTENTION COLLECTORS: The complete title of this remarkable vintage hardcover book, by Prof. Clarence A. Manning of Columbia University in NYC, is "Ukrainian Literature - Studies of the Leading Authors". It has gilt lettering on the front cover and spine and is in excellent condition. The end papers are intact, not split, and there are no flaws to note except these: my father wrote his name and date (Jan 31/45) inside the book, in pen, and I found some of his markings, in pale red pencil, in four locations in the book, and the corner of p. 23 was folded over at one time (see the last photo). This book is now 80 years old! It has no unpleasant smells or odours, and no stains. It measures 8 3/16 inches high x 6 1/16 inches wide x 5/8 inch thick.
